CemWrap Canal installs directly over natural or minimally graded slopes, minimizing earth disturbance and accelerating project timelines. With no requirement for rebar, formwork, or specialized equipment, the system simplifies construction—ensuring durable results even in demanding canal environments.
The system is securely anchored with sustainable fiber-reinforced concrete at the top anchor trenches, ensuring long-term grip and seamless integration with the slope. Panel overlaps are mechanically fastened, creating a unified, gap-free layer—no lifting, no edge failure, just continuous, reliable protection.
The system incorporates a high-strength geogrid and an inbuilt drainage element, which enhances tensile strength and efficiently reduces pore water pressure, preventing slope instability.

Located at the slope crest, the top anchor trench CemWrap firmly into the stable topsoil. It prevents sliding, uplift, and entry of surface runoff—ensuring the system stays fixed from the top down.
Where two CemWrap panels meet, they are overlapped and mechanically fastened or sealed, creating a reinforced joint that prevents water ingress, lifting, or separation. The geogrid spans beneath, maintaining load transfer and full-surface bonding.
